UP2 RetrofitterTM Tube is a container used for the collection, storage, preservation, transportation and performance of in vitro diagnostic laboratory analysis of specimens.

- compatibility with all 14-16 mm diameter test tube rack for PCR
- faster – professional or patient use to collect, store and transport secretions, various fluids and
substances from the nose, ears, oral cavity, vagina, cervix and anus for further examination - safer – once closed that collected sample can no longer be touched, this maintains the integrity of the sample. The sample is protected between the walls of the UP2 Retrofitter™ and the outer tube
- efficiency – allows laboratories to use it directly with the preanalytical robot, without an intermediate tube and barcode
- flexibility – various PCR-compatible, reaction interference-free elution media can be used in the laboratory
